EF Education First Ltd. Dublin is seeking a proactive Facilities & IT Manager to keep our facilities and IT systems running smoothly for a busy, multicultural campus.

The role covers opening/closing, maintenance coordination, IT provisioning, safety checks and budget management. It suits someone who rolls up their sleeves, manages multiple tasks and contributes to a vibrant student experience.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Proactive and positive with common sense as key.
• Excellent attention to detail in facilities and IT tasks.
• Willingness to undertake health & safety training.
• Experience or training in Health and Safety is desirable.
• Ability to manage external suppliers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the school, share emergency duty on a rota.
• Coordinate maintenance, cleaning and contractors as needed.
• Ensure facilities look customer-friendly and fit for purpose.
• Prioritise health and safety and conduct routine checks.
• Maintain IT provision across the school and residence with Global IT when needed.
• Liaise with external maintenance contractors and manage stock.
• Conduct safety checks, risk assessments, and act as Fire Officer.
• Oversee classrooms and common areas, furnishings and upkeep.
• Address maintenance issues promptly and monitor outdoor areas.
• Handle student inquiries and IT/troubleshooting for staff and students.
• Manage facilities budget and invoicing to suppliers; review contractors annually.
