Job summary

EF (Education First) Dublin's International Language Campus is seeking a proactive Facilities & IT Manager to oversee the buildings and IT systems. You will open/close the school, coordinate cleaners and contractors, manage maintenance, and ensure safety for staff and students in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday with salary to be discussed at interview. You will play a pivotal role in keeping facilities and technology running smoothly and

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Highly motivated, proactive and positive with common sense.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Health and safety training or experience preferred.
• Interest in IT, technology and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the school as needed, sharing emergency duty on a rota basis.
• Coordination with cleaners and contractors for maintenance and cleaning.
• Ensure facilities are customer-friendly and fit for purpose.
• Prioritise health and safety and conduct routine building checks.
• Ensure IT provision across the school and residence, liaising with Global IT.
• Manage maintenance stock, liaise with contractors, and decorate as needed.
• Conduct safety checks, risk assessments, and act as Fire Officer.
• Maintain furnished and well-kept classrooms and common areas.
• Handle maintenance issues and out-of-hours site needs as required.
• Assist with budget targets and timely supplier invoicing.
