Job summary

Cork Golf Club is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Supervisor to help run the club's dining and events. You will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional service and quality standards for members and guests, and work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate timely meal delivery.

The role requires strong leadership and training abilities, a focus on staff development, and maintaining health and safety standards, with flexibility to work weekends during the main golf season.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role in the food and beverage sector.
• Strong leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends, predominantly during the main golf season.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional service and quality standards.
• Maintain member satisfaction by engaging with members, seeking feedback, and identifying opportunities to enhance the F&B experience.
• Train, supervise, and mentor staff to deliver top-notch service.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage stock for efficient operation.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas per health and safety regulations.
• Assist in planning and delivering special events to enhance guest experience.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
