Job summary

Harri is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor in Ireland to oversee operations, support F&B standards, and drive guest satisfaction. Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will implement SOPs, manage costs, and lead the service team on a daily basis.

Expected to uphold brand standards, train staff, upsell where appropriate, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and HACCP practices in a busy hospitality setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement the consistent delivery of superior customer service through the development and implementation of SOPs (standard operating procedures).
• Ensure that the department creates a professional impression to customers and team members.
• Act on customer feedback relevant to your areas of responsibility, including complaints and compliments.
• Be aware of budgeted and actual departmental targets.
• Assist with controlling and monitoring payroll costs by ensuring rotas align with forecasted and actual business levels.
• Be aware of and assist with controlling departmental operating costs in line with forecasted business levels.
• Supervise the department to ensure daily operations align with brand standards and that shift controls and procedures are followed.
• Comply with Health and Safety, Food Safety, Risk Assessment, Licensing Laws, Disability and all employment legislation.
• Maximise opportunities for departmental sales and profit and related targets.
• Suggest and assist with new promotions to meet/exceed budget; plan, implement and review promotions.
• Keep all department team members sales-focused and provide ongoing training with records.
• Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus with Head Chef and kitchen team.
• Actively upsell throughout customer service and train the team to do so.
• Maintain professional and courteous conduct at all times.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout dining experience and inform management of special requirements.
• Maintain dining areas in line with cleaning schedules.
• Read, understand and comply with Health and Safety statements and Staff Handbook.
• Ensure HACCP and cleaning schedules are completed daily and standards maintained.
• Participate in training and staff development to improve standards and performance.
• Contribute to the hotel’s customer relations policy and communicate hotel services to guests.
• Arrive for duty on time in full clean uniform with name badge.
