Killashee Hotel is seeking a Human Resources Executive to ensure smooth HR operations and a positive employee journey. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will manage HR administration, onboarding, payroll, and compliance while fostering engagement and collaboration across teams.

The role requires a year of HR experience, a pursuing or held HR qualification, and a passion for hospitality. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential to support a vibrant, guest-focused

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily administrative functions of the HR department.
  • Foster positive employee engagement through clear communication and people management.
  • Respond promptly to employee queries.
  • Coordinate and manage the full recruitment cycle (advertising to interviewing and offers).
  • Ensure onboarding for new team members with documentation and training.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure statutory training requirements are met.
  • Prepare and submit weekly payroll information every Monday.
  • Drive HR initiatives and projects within the hotel.
  • Maintain open communication with department managers and leadership.
  • Monitor absenteeism and address it accordingly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling employee information.

Human Resources Executive
Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Head of HR and People, Human Resources Executive will be responsible for smooth running of the HR office, and ensure that our employees journey is positive and informative throughout team member life cycle.

Key Requirements

Main Duties
  • Oversee the daily administrative functions of the Human Resources department.
  • Foster a positive culture of employee engagement through clear communication, effective people management, and initiatives that enhance the overall working environment.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee queries.
  • Coordinate and manage the full recruitment cycle-from advertising and shortlisting to interviewing and offering.
  • Ensure all new team members receive the required documentation, training, and support prior to starting, delivering a smooth and professional onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records - ensuring full compliance.
  • Ensure the hotel remains compliant with statutory training requirements
  • Prepare and submit the weekly payroll information every Monday.
  • Drive and implement HR initiatives and projects within the hotel.
  • Maintain strong, open, and proactive communication with department managers and the wider leadership team.
