The Hardiman in Galway is seeking enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as a Food & Beverage Assistant. You will deliver amazing service and maintain high standards in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and excellent communication are essential for guest interaction.
• Experience in a hotel setting is advantageous for understanding service standards.
• Ability to learn menu details and make beverage/wine recommendations.
• Willingness to work across different areas (lounge, restaurant, etc.).
• Prior experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service and maintain high standards at all times.
• Greet regular guests by name and provide warm, personalized service.
• Have good knowledge of food, beverages and wine; make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional in all guest interactions.
• Upsell and maximize sales revenue where possible.
• Assist in lounge, restaurant or other departments as required.
