Job summary

The Merrion, a prestigious hotel in Dublin, is seeking experienced, professional Housekeepers to join our housekeeping team. The role offers full-time employment with training, a supportive team, and career development in a luxury setting.

The successful candidate will clean and set up to 10 rooms per day, communicate well with colleagues, and uphold the highest standards in a 4- or 5-star property. Central location provides easy access to transport and city amenities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years previous hotel experience in a 4 or 5 star property.
• Able to communicate in English with colleagues to a sufficient level.

Responsibilities

• Complete the cleaning and set up of 10 guest rooms to Leading Hotels of the World standard, per day.
• Ensure compliance with hotel security standards.
• Communicate with and assist colleagues in a polite and helpful manner.
• Work with the Supervisory team to ensure rooms are presented to the highest standard on a consistent basis.

The rate of pay for this position is €18.49 per hour. Shift work & flexibility are required in this position.

You will be required to:

Who we are looking for:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years previous hotel experience in a 4 or 5 star property, be able to communicate through English with colleagues to a sufficient level and will have the drive and energy to clean up to 10 guest rooms per day. The interview process will include a practical demonstration.
