Job summary

The Merrion Hotel in Dublin is seeking experienced professional housekeepers to join our renowned housekeeping team. This full-time, on-site role demands attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work to the highest 4- or 5-star standards.

You will clean and prepare 10 guest rooms per day, benefit from training, a comprehensive benefits package including meals on duty, uniforms cleaned, a pension plan, health and dental insurance, and an employee assistance programme.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years previous hotel experience in a 4 or 5 star property.
• Ability to communicate in English with colleagues to a sufficient level.

Responsibilities

• Complete cleaning and set up of 10 guest rooms per day to Leading Hotels of the World standard.
• Ensure compliance with hotel security standards.
• Communicate with and assist colleagues in a polite and helpful manner.

The rate of pay for this position is €18.49 per hour. Shift work & flexibility are required in this position.

You will be required to:

• Work in partnership with the Supervisory team to ensure rooms are presented to the highest standard on a consistent basis

Who we are looking for:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years previous hotel experience in a 4 or 5 star property, be able to communicate through English with colleagues to a sufficient leveland will have the drive and energy to clean up to 10 guest rooms per day. The interview process will include a practical demonstration.
