Job summary

The Merrion is recruiting for a full time Laundry Assistant in Dublin city centre, offering a chance to work in a luxury hotel with the highest standards and comprehensive training. You will be part of an experienced team and enjoy a warm welcome as you contribute to seamless guest service.

Job description

The Merrion, one of Dublin's finest luxury hotels is recruiting for a full time Laundry Assistant.

Centrally located in Dublin within easy reach of public transport, this role will offer you the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel where the highest of standards are in place and where you have all the tools you need to do your job. Working alongside an experienced team, you will be offered plenty of training. This is a really rewarding role on a team where you can be assured of a warm welcome!

Your role as Laundry Assistant will include:

• Sorting all linens and treating stains
• Loading all laundry into washer and driers
• Sorting and folding / hanging clean dried items
• Maintaining all laundry equipment and informing manager as to any maintenance needs

Working days are 5/7 with week day and weekend work required. Hours of work are usually 8 hours, falling between 7am and 16.30pm.

The successful candidate will have strong guest focus, communication skills, great spoken and written English, multi-tasking ability and enjoy contributing in a positive way to The Merrion Culture. Flexibility in response to guest and business needs is required, no two days are the same!
