Brightwater Recruitment is seeking a proactive Executive Officer to support the Drama Department in Dublin City Centre. This fully onsite role handles student queries, timetabling and enrolments, with a focus on coordinating across departments.

The position runs for a minimum of 12 weeks (35 hours per week) with an immediate start, at an hourly rate of €16.20 paid weekly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a busy administrative role.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Forms and MS Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility and pastoral sensitivity for creative staff.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities around academic deadlines.
  • Deep respect for confidentiality, data integrity and institutional procedures.
  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in the arts or a creative environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a friendly, responsive point of contact for student queries and admin actions, including module changes, timetabling, and enrolments.
  • Coordinate communications between Department staff, Head of Department and key contacts.
  • Assist with payroll file preparation using Microsoft Forms and advanced Excel functions.
  • Manage and structure collaboration spaces within Microsoft Teams.
  • Assist in organising internal team meetings, public-facing group activities and departmental events.

Executive Officer Dublin City Centre | Fully Onsite | €16.20 per hour | Immediate Start Temporary Position - expected to last minimum 13 weeks (35 hours per week)

Our client is currently seeking a proactive, adaptable and collaborative Executive Officer to support the dynamic operations within their Drama Department.

The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between students, staff and central functions. This position offers a varied and impactful workload, making it ideal for an administrative professional skilled in student support, cross-departmental coordination, data management and event organisation who thrives in a vibrant, creative environment.

The Scope of the Role
  • Serve as a friendly, responsive point of contact for student queries and administrative actions, particularly concerning module changes, timetabling issues and start-of-term enrolments.

This is a fully on-site role (5 days per week / 35 hours per week) based in Dublin City Centre for a period of at least 12 weeks.

Remuneration

Hourly rate of €16.20 p/h paid weekly via Brightwater
