Job description

We are seeking an outstanding Executive Assistant to support an innovative, high-profile client operating at the forefront of their field. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced, highly capable EA to become a trusted partner in a fast-paced, dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

This is not a conventional EA role. We are looking for an individual who combines exceptional organisational ability with sound judgement, absolute discretion and the confidence to operate independently. Someone who can anticipate needs before they arise, bring structure to complexity and ensure that every detail is handled to the highest possible standard.

While the role offers remote working day to day, you must be based in Cork and available to attend in-person meetings, events and other engagements as required.

Contract: Permanent

What You Will Bring:

We are looking for an individual who operates at an exceptionally high level and brings:

  • Exceptional organisational skills - able to manage complex schedules, competing priorities and multiple moving parts with precision and foresight.
  • Absolute discretion and integrity - confident handling confidential, sensitive and high-stakes matters with professionalism and sound judgement.
  • Outstanding attention to detail - meticulous in execution, with the ability to identify issues, anticipate gaps and ensure nothing is overlooked.
  • Strong practical judgement - able to assess situations, make sensible decisions and determine when to act independently and when to **?**
  • Resourcefulness and initiative - someone who finds solutions rather than problems, thinks ahead and takes ownership without needing to be prompted.
  • Composure under pressure - able to remain calm, focused and effective when priorities change or unexpected challenges arise.
  • Adaptability and autonomy - comfortable operating with minimal supervision, responding quickly to changing demands and bringing clarity to ambiguity.
  • Exceptional communication skills - polished, articulate and confident engaging with senior stakeholders and external contacts.
  • A proactive, service-led mindset - someone who takes genuine pride in making things happen and delivering to an exceptional standard.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven 5+ years experience in a senior EA or executive support role.
  • Exceptional diary management, organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent judgement, discretion and experience handling confidential information.
  • The ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities and perform under pressure.

We are looking for someone who thrives on responsibility, values autonomy and takes pride in providing exceptional executive support.
