Job summary

Capaciteam in Dublin is seeking an experienced EV Support Engineer to join our technical operations team. This hands-on role combines remote troubleshooting, charger monitoring and occasional field-based intervention to support live EV charging infrastructure.

You'll provide first- and second-line technical support, diagnose charger functionality and connectivity, and work with engineering, suppliers and field-service teams to maintain high availability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

3+ years in technical or customer support, preferably EV charging or related tech.
Strong fault-finding and issue resolution abilities.
Experience with CRM platforms and ticketing workflows.
Good understanding of electrical systems and basic networking.
Willingness to travel to customer/project sites when required.

Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-line technical support for EV charging equipment and software.
Diagnose issues related to charger functionality, connectivity and user access.
Respond to support requests via phone, email and tickets within SLAs.
Monitor live charging infrastructure for uptime and alerts.
Guide customers through remote troubleshooting and corrections.
Escalate complex issues to engineering, suppliers or field teams as needed.
Track supplier tickets and equipment returns through to resolution.
Maintain accurate records of support cases and known issues.
Assist with onboarding new customers and provide basic usage guidance.
Configure and support AC EV charging equipment.
