Job summary

EZO EV Charging seeks a Solutions Engineering Manager to bridge technical EV solutions with customer needs, leading the pre-sales function across Ireland and the UK. You will design end-to-end charging and energy solutions and drive win strategies with the commercial team.

You will engage with fleet operators and councils, translate requirements into feasible architectures, and lead technical responses for bids and tenders while mentoring a growing pre-sales team.

Qualifications

• Experience designing EV or energy infrastructure solutions.
• Strong track record in technical pre-sales and bid responses.
• Background in engineering, energy systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Engage with fleet operators, councils and developers to capture EV charging requirements.
• Translate needs into tailored EV infrastructure solutions (hardware, software, grid, installation).
• Own technical responses for RFPs/tenders and develop architecture diagrams.
• Support sales with demos, proofs of concept, and value storytelling.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, delivery, finance and product teams.
• Lead and develop a pre-sales team with defined processes and KPIs.
