Job summary

CPL Group is seeking an experienced EV Manager to bridge technical EV solutions and customer needs across pre-sales and bids. The role collaborates with sales, engineering, and product teams to design compelling charging and energy solutions for diverse clients.

You will lead technical discovery, propose end-to-end architectures, and steer complex bids while coordinating with partners, suppliers, and internal teams to maximise win probability and value realization.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in EV, energy, or technical pre-sales.
• Experience with large-scale EV deployments or tenders.

Responsibilities

• Engage with fleet operators, councils, developers, and commercial clients to understand EV charging requirements.
• Translate customer needs into tailored EV infrastructure solutions (hardware, software, grid, installation).
• Own technical responses for RFPs/tenders including proposals, diagrams, and pricing inputs.
• Lead pre-sales activities with sales, engineering, delivery, and finance teams.
• Present demonstrations and value narratives; support negotiations as the technical expert.
• Coordinate with OEMs, ESB, EPC contractors, and roaming partners to align solutions.
