Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Associate Project Manager to coordinate service and maintenance activities within EV charging infrastructure projects across Europe. You will work with project managers, field engineers, customers and suppliers to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective delivery aligned with contractual commitments.

The role focuses on planning, monitoring SLAs, and reporting performance while maintaining RAMS documentation and procurement activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Associate Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Service Delivery Coordinator, or similar role.
• Experience in SLA-driven environments with performance against contractual commitments.
• Experience coordinating field-based engineering, maintenance, infrastructure, utilities, telecommunications, energy, or technical service operations.
• Understanding of project management principles, controls, scheduling, and risk management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, resources and workstreams simultaneously.
• Knowledge of service delivery metrics, escalation management, and customer performance reporting.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project/service management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and delivery of projects and operational activities.
• Monitor performance against SLAs, KPIs, response times and resolution targets.
• Coordinate field engineers, subcontractors and internal resources for timely delivery.
• Act as operational contact for customers and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify and manage delivery risks, escalating issues to minimise SLA breaches.
• Assist with project scheduling, resource planning and work allocation.
• Track progress, milestones, deliverables and service metrics.
• Support governance, reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and compliance.
• Create RAMS/RAMPS documentation for safe execution.
• Raise purchase orders and coordinate material procurement.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers and internal teams for objective delivery.
• Produce performance reports, updates and dashboards.
• Support continuous improvement to service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all activities meet Hitachi Energy health, safety and quality standards.
