Job summary

Logiskills Group is seeking a Road Freight Operations Manager in Shannon, Co. Clare. This full-time role focuses on developing the European Roadfreight product through Operations, Finances, Sales, People, Systems and Culture in line with company policy.

The position requires leadership, strong communication, and a proactive drive to improve operations while maintaining compliance and financial accuracy. Office-based, Monday–Friday, with a €75k package plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years senior management experience within a busy European roadfreight forwarding or Overland position.
• Excellent communicator who can build rapport and exhibit empathy during interactions.
• Committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement across the network.

Responsibilities

• Review and support day-to-day quotations.
• Check local charges and quotes to minimize branch losses.
• Understand export/import database and roadfreight products.
• Plan and lead huddles and monthly meetings; delegate workloads.
• Attend weekly branch Sales meetings and discuss roadfreight market updates.
