Job summary

DECO Engineering is expanding its European operations and seeks an experienced HR Manager to support the management of a growing international workforce. The role focuses on European employment legislation, cross-border workforce management and HR compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

You will work with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures that sustain growth while ensuring employment compliance across Europe.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR management, ideally within a company operating across multiple European countries.
• Strong knowledge of European employment legislation and the ability to ensure compliance across different jurisdictions.
• Experience managing a European workforce, including employees on international projects and rotational assignments.
• Understanding of immigration, work permits and right-to-work checks across Europe.
• Experience with cross-border employment compliance, including social security obligations and applicable employment regulations.
• Knowledge of country-specific payroll requirements and statutory obligations, plus GDPR considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide general HR support to management teams on international projects.
• Maintain employee and contractor records with compliance in mind.
• Coordinate onboarding, recruitment and offboarding for a European workforce.
• Support timekeeping, holidays and international mobility arrangements.
• Liaise with external HR consultants, payroll providers and legal advisers across Europe.
• Develop and implement HR policies suitable for a growing international organisation.
