Job summary

Cadence is looking for a Contracts Program Manager to support business development and proposals for EU and European government-funded programs. The role involves collaboration with various teams at Cadence and external stakeholders in the EU to drive contract opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, have experience in contract negotiation, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of EU funding programs and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in government contract negotiation.
• Ability to interpret complex contractual documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience in semiconductor or electronics industries.
• Knowledge of EU government funding programs.
• Additional language skills preferred (German or French).

Responsibilities

• Represent Cadence with the EU Commission and member states.
• Engage with partners and institutions to develop opportunity pipelines.
• Assess contract terms and recommend mitigation methods.
• Contribute to negotiations with customers and regulatory bodies.
• Guide teams on operational considerations for proposals.
• Identify and escalate risks to management and stakeholders.
• Maintain understanding of Cadence products and processes.
