Job summary

dentsu is seeking an SEO Manager, GEO in Dublin to lead day‑to‑day strategy, team operations, and client delivery across traditional SEO and AI‑powered discovery for a complex enterprise client.

The role demands deep knowledge of technical SEO, content strategy, and performance analysis, with hands‑on experience using major SEO tools. You will manage a team, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and drive scalable discovery programs in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SEO experience, ideally in an agency or enterprise environment.
• 1+ years of direct people management experience.
• Proven experience leading enterprise‑level accounts and complex workstreams.
• Deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, on‑page/off‑page optimization, and performance analysis.
• Exposure to GEO / AEO / LLMO workflows preferred, including AI visibility or citation analysis.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and structured data.
• Hands‑on experience with tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Adobe Analytics, Screaming Frog, BrightEdge, Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
• Strong ability to turn complex data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
• Confident, credible presence with client stakeholders.
• Mindset & Growth Orientation.
• Curious about how AI systems surface, interpret, and cite information.
• Energized by ambiguity and motivated to build in a growing space.

Responsibilities

• Shape and evolve GEO approach, identifying new opportunities and translating learnings into best practices.
• Partner with the Director on account direction, priorities, and escalations.
• Serve as the primary day‑to‑day client contact and escalation point, leading sessions and strategic discussions.
• Lead technical audits across crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
• Guide keyword research, competitive analysis, content opportunity assessments, and AI visibility evaluations.
• Translate technical findings into prioritized recommendations tied to business outcomes.
• Oversee performance reporting, insights and business cases tied to GEO & SEO impact.
• Monitor scope, pacing, and delivery quality; escalate risks and support site migrations, redesigns, CMS changes, big launches.
• Partner cross‑functionally with content, analytics, media, development, and client teams.
