Job summary
Dexcom Corporation seeks an Engineering Technician 3 to support equipment engineers in scaling up manufacturing for Dexcom products. You will work on testing, validation, and transfer of automated equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and outside suppliers to meet specifications and timelines.
The role requires hands-on experience with automated production equipment, strong technical writing, and clear communication.
Qualifications
- Level 6/7 qualification and 5–8 years of related experience.
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical documents related to equipment specs.
- Experience with PLC and automated production equipment; strong safety sense.
Responsibilities
- Test performance of electro‑mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
- Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
- Record test results and prepare written documentation.
- Perform fault isolation on automated systems, under supervision.
- Update equipment documentation (manuals, drawings, specs) as needed.
