Job summary

Dexcom Corporation in Ireland is seeking an Engineering Technician 3 to support engineers by analyzing data from production lines, testing electro‑mechanical assemblies, and operating robotic equipment. The role reports to the Engineering Supervisor and involves cross‑functional collaboration with equipment deployment teams.

You will retrieve yield data, document test results, perform fault isolation on automated systems, and contribute to equipment development under supervision.

Qualifications

• Level 6/7 qualification and 5–8 years of related experience.
• Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical docs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and analyse engineering data such as yield performance results.
• Test performance of electro‑mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
• Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Analyse and record test results and prepare written documentation.
• Perform operational tests and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.
• Carry out equipment development activities under supervision of the project engineer.
• Follow Dexcom's Safety and LOTO program.
• Update equipment documentation (manuals, drawings, specs) as needed.
