Job summary

Dexcom Ireland - Athenry is seeking an Engineering Technician 3 to support engineers by analysing production data and testing equipment. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and hands-on work with automated systems on the manufacturing floor.

You will perform data analysis, operate test equipment, and help develop and validate equipment under supervision, while adhering to safety and LOTO procedures. A strong troubleshooting mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of related experience.
• Level 6/7 qualification.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with high-reliability manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse engineering data such as yield performance.
• Test electro‑mechanical assemblies with testing equipment.
• Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Analyse and record test results, and prepare documentation.
• Perform operational test and fault isolation on automated systems.
• Carry out equipment development activities under supervision.
• Follow Dexcom safety and LOTO procedures.
• Update equipment documentation (manuals, drawings, specs).
