Job summary

BnM invites applications for a Policy/Regulation Graduate to support policy analysis and advisory work on the regulatory and legislative framework for the Irish energy market. You will help oversee risk-management processes and gain in-depth knowledge of business operations while supporting the regulatory services for commercial, development and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Third level degree (min 2:1) in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Experience with SQL and Python is desirable; proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Project Development Support
• Deliver regulatory services to the commercial, development and operations teams to support the commercialisation and operation of the renewable energy portfolio
• Horizon Scanning and Market Analysis
• Research policy issues and identification of energy trends, maintaining awareness of policy developments and best practice within the energy industry both in Ireland and internationally
• Policy Development and responses to regulatory consultations
• Support the business units risk champion to develop documentation in compliance with risk policy; contribute to materials for risk governance meetings
• Stakeholder Management with internal colleagues; work with cross-functional teams including planning, trading and development
• Co-operate with Health and Safety provisions and welfare of co-employees and the public using the premises
• Participate in the Performance Management process to deliver own and team objectives
