Job summary

Baringa in Dublin is seeking an experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our Policy and Economics practice. You will apply economic reasoning and quantitative analysis to assess how policy and regulatory changes affect energy markets, investors, consumers and other market participants.

You will develop robust analytical models and evidence-based insights for client decisions, translate technical analysis into clear recommendations, and contribute to business development while building

Qualifications

You will have 3-7 years' experience in consulting, government, industry or a similar analytical role, with a focus on energy markets, policy or economics.

Responsibilities

Apply economic reasoning and quantitative analysis to assess the impact of policy and regulatory changes on energy markets, investors, consumers and other market participants.
Develop robust analytical models and evidence-based insights to inform client decision-making on complex policy and market issues.
Translate technical analysis into clear, compelling and commercially relevant recommendations for clients.
Produce high-quality written outputs, including reports, presentations and briefing materials for senior client stakeholders.
Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing, discussions on client propositions, and the development of new service offerings.
