Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking friendly, energetic assistants for after-school and holiday club programs in Ireland. These roles operate on-site at schools and involve supervising children, helping with homework, and leading engaging activities after the school day ends.

The position requires Garda vetting (handled after interview), a valid work permit or visa, and at least one year of experience with school-aged children.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work Permit/ VISA essential.
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Maintain lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
