Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland seeks an energetic, creative, and reliable After School Assistant to supervise and support children in our busy school clubs. You will lead engaging activities, support homework, and help create a safe, inclusive environment for all age groups.

Join us at on-site programs in schools, bring energy, teamwork, and a passion for helping families. Garda vetting is completed after interview, and references are required before start.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage)
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment

Skills
