Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland offers After School, Before School, and Holiday Club programmes at schools across Ireland. The role focuses on supervising children, supporting learning tasks, and delivering engaging activities in a safe environment after school hours.

Candidates should have at least 1 year experience with school-aged children, strong English, and be willing to undergo Garda vetting and provide two references before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-aged children (min 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor) with the children.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
