Job summary

eir is seeking a Deskside Support Engineer to deliver high-quality end-user computing support across the organization. The role involves remote and onsite support, working with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Security, Vendors, and Business stakeholders.

You will build, deploy, and support Windows laptops/desktops, manage imaging and provisioning, and assist with JML processes, asset management, and endpoint security. The role supports office and datacentre environments in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience in Desktop Support / End User Computing roles (2+ years).
• Strong Windows troubleshooting and AD experience.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Helix.

Responsibilities

• Provide deskside hardware, software, and connectivity support.
• Configure and support Windows laptops and desktops; imaging and provisioning.
• Troubleshoot wired/wireless networks and VPN access.
• Document incidents and update knowledge base; support process improvements.
• Ensure policy, security and change processes compliance.
