Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Finance Accountant - Group Reporting for Ireland (Dublin). This 12-month, specified purpose contract reports to the Finance Manager and focuses on month-end close, accounting accuracy, and timely financial reporting.

The role includes management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and business partnering with assigned units, ensuring compliance and process improvements across financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

• NFQ Level 7 qualification in finance/IT or related discipline.
• Recognised accounting qualification.
• At least 5 years’ experience with financial modules of MS Dynamics 365 BC or similar.
• Strong MS Office/MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Close month-end and update GL posting dates.
• Analyse GL entries and adjust discrepancies.
• Prepare management accounts with commentary.
• Carry out balance sheet reconciliations and year-end adjustments.
• Support statutory financial statements and audits.
• Lead business partnering with senior budget holders.
