Jobgether is seeking a Counsel, Offboarding & Litigation based in Ireland to lead complex employment offboarding, pre-litigation, and litigation across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will ensure compliance with labor laws, coordinate with internal teams and external counsel, and translate legal requirements into scalable processes and technology improvements.

Qualificações

• A law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) and active admission to the Bar in an applicable EMEA jurisdiction.
• 6–10 years of post-qualification experience in employment law within EMEA, incl. agency proceedings, tribunals, arbitrations, and hearings.
• Strong knowledge of EMEA employment legislation, including termination procedures and due process.
• Experience managing external counsel, defining scope, negotiating fees, and reviewing work.
• Ability to navigate multi-jurisdictional legal challenges and provide practical business guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end offboarding, pre-litigation, and litigation across EMEA.
• Manage disciplinary processes, statutory filings, and employee disputes in multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct case intake, fact-finding, and risk assessments for employee relations matters.
• Lead or support hearings, conciliation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation proceedings.
• Draft termination notices, separation agreements, submissions, and supporting evidence.
• Evaluate litigation exposure and develop hearing strategies with stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact for external counsel, oversee case scopes, and timelines.
• Collaborate with HR, Product, Operations, and Compliance to strengthen offboarding frameworks.
• Partner with product teams to review offboarding workflows for regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to cross-functional legal initiatives and risk reduction.
