Job summary

Revolut in Greater Dublin, Ireland, seeks a Legal Counsel (Employment) to join its global legal team. You will partner with HR, Employee Relations, and local management to navigate complex employment issues in a fast-paced multinational environment.

We require a minimum of 3+ years as a qualified employment lawyer in a top-tier UK firm or multinational in-house, with solid knowledge of UK employment laws, fluent English, and strong research skills. Cross-border experience in EMEA/APAC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a qualified employment lawyer in a top-tier UK law firm and/or in-house legal department of a multinational organization.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment laws.
• Fluency in English and excellent legal research skills.
• Analytical and pragmatic thinker with a passion for technology.
• Nice to have: banking or regulatory background, cross-border employment law experience in EMEA and APAC.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to local management, ER, and HR on a wide array of employment issues, including grievances, dismissals, and contracts.
• Manage cross-border projects across the EMEA region or globally, collaborating with external counsel.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, such as working time regulations.
• Advise on global mobility, contingent worker matters, and compensation, benefits, equity awards.
• Handle regulatory issues concerning conduct, remuneration matters, and regulatory inquiries.
• Manage employment litigation, negotiated exits, and settlements.
