Clio in Dublin, a global leader in cloud-based legal practice management, seeks a Legal Counsel for the EMEA region. This role blends hands-on commercial law with strategic business partnering to support product development, privacy, and contracts across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Based in Dublin with a hybrid work model, you will advise on GDPR and data protection, negotiate SaaS and partner contracts, and collaborate with sales, marketing and finance to ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Law degree and admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction (EMEA preferred).
• Experience in commercial contracts and technology law.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection considerations.

Responsabilités

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS and partner contracts.
• Advise on data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity issues including GDPR.
• Support product launches with regulatory analysis and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to ensure legal compliance.
• Manage external counsel relationships and budgets in the EMEA region.
• Deliver legal training to internal stakeholders.
