Job summary

Abnormal AI is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive new business in an assigned territory. You will initiate outbound calls and emails, qualify opportunities, and partner with sales teams to meet monthly and quarterly targets.

The role emphasizes AI-supported prospecting and strong communication with C-level stakeholders in mid to large organizations. The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1+ year of SDR experience, fluency in French, and a BA/BS or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 6 months–1+ year proven BDR experience.
• Fluent in French with strong communication skills.
• Background as Sales Account Executive or similar role acceptable with less experience for right candidate.
• Ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team.
• Strong understanding of customer pain points and value mapping.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Capable of handling multiple requests while meeting goals.
• Experience with multiple sales techniques including cold calls.
• Interest in AI-assisted prospecting tools and applying them to outreach.
• Drive, grit, and team orientation to win.
• BA/BS degree or relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Contact potential clients via outbound cold calls and emails.
• Identify client needs and suggest suitable products/services.
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
• Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
• Lead sales planning and collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly targets.
• Partner across sales teams to drive results.
• Act as the subject matter expert on Abnormal AI product offering.
