Job summary

Activ8 Solar Energies are actively seeking qualified Electricians to install & commission domestic Solar PV systems. This position will be based out of our Naas location in Co. Kildare.

This is a full time permanent position inclusive of a competitive salary, bonus, pension, healthcare and additional benefits. As a Solar Electrician you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems primarily on residential properties.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with 3+ years domestic experience.
• Live within an hour of Naas, Co. Kildare.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels and electrical components according to Safe Electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.
• Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
• Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.
• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

The Opportunity

• Test & Verification certification would be an advantage.
• Must have valid full driver's licence.
