Job summary

Activ8 Solar Energies in Naas, Co. Kildare, is hiring a Solar PV Installer to join our installations team. You will install solar PV systems on residential buildings and ground-mounted sites.

The role is full-time with a competitive salary, benefits, and six weeks of dedicated training.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years roofing experience, can work at heights, and live within commuting distance of Naas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Roofer or in Cladding/Industrial glazing.
• Must live within commutable distance of Naas, Co. Kildare.
• Experience working at heights with harness is required.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.

The Opportunity:

As a Solar PV Installer you will be responsible for the installation of our Solar PV Systems on residential buildings & ground mounted systems. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.

About The Role

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Roofer or have previous experience in Cladding/Industrial glazing.
• Previous solar experience is desirable
• Must live within a commutable distance of Naas, Co. Kildare.
• Previous experience working at heights with the use of a harness.
• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and control Health and Safety aspects on site.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills along with a positive attitude for dealing with customers.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday - Typically 1 Installation per day.
