Job summary

Crewit Resourcing is seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician who is SEAI registered as an approved installer. You will sign off SEAI domestic solar PV installations and lead installation teams on both domestic and commercial projects across Greater Dublin and the North East, with nationwide travel as required.

The role emphasises fault-finding, adherence to electrical standards, and high-quality, safe workmanship.

Qualifications

  • Must be SEAI registered as an approved installer.
  • Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications and authorisation to sign off SEAI domestic solar PV installations.
  • Strong fault-finding capabilities and ability to lead electrical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Install domestic and commercial Solar PV systems per SEAI requirements and best practice.
  • Carry out electrical works safely and to high standards, including commissioning and testing.
  • Inspect, maintain, and service solar PV systems; diagnose and resolve faults.
  • Provide technical support to customers and assist installation teams on site.
  • Ensure installations comply with SEAI regulations and electrical standards.

Solar PV Electrician - SEAI Registered Installer

Location: Greater Dublin & North East Ireland (Nationwide travel may be required)
Job Type: Full-Time


About the Role

Crewit Resourcing is looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician who is SEAI registered as an approved installer. Applicants must be fully qualified and authorised to sign off SEAI domestic solar PV installations.


The successful candidate will have strong experience in domestic and commercial solar PV installations, excellent fault-finding capabilities, and the ability to lead electrical teams while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Experience with systems such as SigEnergy, Solis, and Tesla would be advantageous.


This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing renewable energy business and potentially progress into a Quality Control leadership role.


Key Responsibilities


  • Install domestic and commercial Solar PV systems in accordance with SEAI requirements and industry best practice.

  • Complete all electrical works safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

  • Commission and test Solar PV systems upon completion.

  • Carry out electrical inspections and maintenance on solar PV systems.

  • Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines.

  • Ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

  • Diagnose and resolve faults on Solar PV systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment.

  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.

  • Assist installation teams with on-site technical problem-solving.

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship across all projects.

  • Support and lead installation teams where required.

  • Assist with quality control processes and procedures.

  • Ensure all installations comply with SEAI regulations and electrical standards.

  • Follow all company and site health & safety procedures.

  • Maintain safe working practices at all times.

  • Keep work areas clean and organised.


Requirements


  • SEAI Registered Solar PV Installer.

  • Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications.

  • Proven experience installing domestic and commercial Solar PV systems.

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

  • Excellent understanding of electrical regulations and Solar PV standards.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Full clean driving licence.

  • Experience with SigEnergy systems.
