Activ8 Solar Energies invites qualified Electricians to join our Cashel-based team. The role focuses on installation and commissioning of domestic Solar PV systems, with comprehensive 6 weeks of industry-specific training provided. You will work on residential projects, ensuring compliance with Safe Electric and SEAI standards, while maintaining high safety and quality.

This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits. Based in Cashel, Co.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with 3+ years domestic experience.
• Live within an hour of Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Test & Verification certification would be an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels and electrical components according to Safe Electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.
• Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
• Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.
• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
