Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or relevant trade background.
• 5+ years experience as Electrical Construction Manager.
• Must have worked with an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Proven track record leading teams on large projects with tight deadlines.
• Must have EU or UK passport.

• Manage Electrical Engineers, Supervisors and Sub-Contractors.
• Manage Electrical QAQC in line with project QA Manager.
• Coordinate design consultants and electrical contractors.
• Plan, program, and report all electrical construction activities.
• Oversee the electrical element of the project to ensure high quality installation.
• Ensure compliance with programme, materials, quality and safety issues.
• Lead a large team to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Uphold safety and quality standards.
• Drive project profitability.

Electrical Construction Manager Electrical Construction Manager required for one if Irelands largest Tier 1 Main Contractors for a Data Centre project in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The successful candidate would be reporting into the Electrical Project Manager and be provided excellent support and career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Management of Electrical Engineers, Supervisors and Sub-Contractors.
• Management of Electrical QAQC in line with project QA Manager.
• Management of design consultants and electrical contractors.
• Programming, planning, coordinating and reporting of all electrical construction activities.
• Overseeing an entire electrical element of the project to ensure high quality installation.
• Ensure compliance with programme, materials, quality and safety issues.
• To manage and drive a large team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines.
• Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Ensure project profitability.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or relevant trade background required.
• 5 Years+ experience as an Electrical Construction Manager.
• Must have worked with an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Proven track record of having led teams on large projects with tight deadlines.
• Must have good commercial awareness and be a client facing individual.
• Detailed knowledge of the full design and construction process of a project.
• The successful Electrical Construction Manager must have an EU or UK passport.
• Experience working on Data Centre projects would be advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office.
