Job summary

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Manage the Electrical Engineering function for the project, ensuring full technical compliance and providing weekly reports and updates to the Project Director and Client.
• Oversee the review and issuance of Technical Submittals and RFIs, ensuring they meet project specifications.
• Lead a team of Electrical Engineers and Package Managers, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Ensure complete and accurate handover information at project completion.
• Engage with the supply chain, including vendors and subcontractors, to ensure compliance with project specifications and value engineering opportunities.
• Communicate technical issues promptly to the Project Management team and monitor engineering progress.
• Provide technical support to estimating, procurement, and project bid teams as needed.
• Develop and support commissioning strategies, troubleshooting activities, and off-site technical support for construction teams.
• Identify and implement sustainable and value-engineering solutions in project design.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
• Proven track record in an Electrical Engineering role within the construction industry.
• Previous experience in Hyper Scale Data Centres is preferable.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing and leading a team of engineers.
• Proficient in Office 365 (Outlook, Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint, Share file, CMMS systems).
• IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, and other relevant software tools, are advantageous.
