Sofina Foods Europe is seeking an Electrical Bias Engineer to sustain and enhance electrical and automation systems in our Irish manufacturing site. You will work with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime and support continuous improvement projects across the site.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm. You will maintain motors, drives, sensors, switchgear, control panels, and power distribution while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification and/or Electrical Engineering degree.
• Minimum 3 years in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Skilled in fault finding and diagnostics.
• Able to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Familiar with CMMS and preventative maintenance.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Knowledge of automation, drives and control systems.
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on electrical and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Maintain motors, drives, sensors, switchgear and power distribution systems.
• Support and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Assist with control system upgrades and new installations.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Help deliver reliability, energy-saving projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety and quality standards.
