Panelto Foods in Ireland's Longford area is seeking experienced Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join a fast-paced, 24/7 food manufacturing environment. You will maintain safe, efficient operation of production equipment and respond to breakdowns while implementing planned and preventative maintenance.

This role works on a shift-based pattern, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Formación

• Third level engineering qualification is an advantage.
• Trade qualification required.
• Champion health and safety; lead by example.
• Previous experience in food or pharma environment preferred.
• Aptitude for mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Ability to read electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of bakery, process or packaging machinery.
• Experience with Pemac or CMMS system.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the efficient running of the production line by addressing mechanical or electrical issues.
• Collaborate with the production team to achieve operational targets.
• Monitor line performance and take proactive measures when performance deteriorates.
• Attend engineering briefings and safety audits.
• Maintain PM records and keep PMs up to date.
• Receive detailed handover from the previous shift and complete maintenance handover sheets.
• Walk the production line, discuss issues with Supervisors/Operators and resolve them.
• Ensure traceability of engineering spares and resolve issues.
• Follow permit to work rules where required.
• Participate in engineering and process improvements.
• Maintain housekeeping in production areas and the engineering workshop.
• Work independently and perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering manager.
