Job summary

OXBO, in partnership with a renewable energy investment fund and asset owner, is seeking an Electrically biased Asset Manager to support the technical and commercial management of its operational assets across Europe, with a focus on MV/HV systems and performance.

You will oversee HV/MV operations, manage key contracts (O&M, PPAs, asset management services), coordinate with grid operators and service providers, and drive budgeting and safety standards across a growing European portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in renewable energy, power generation, utilities or energy infrastructure.
• Strong MV/HV electrical systems knowledge and operation procedures.
• Experience coordinating HV/MV operations and service contracts is desirable.
• Willingness to move from site-based role into Asset Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and commercial performance of operational renewable assets.
• Oversee MV/HV electrical systems and ensure safe operations and switching procedures.
• Act as key point of contact for HV/MV operational matters across the portfolio.
• Oversee contracts including O&M agreements, PPAs and asset management services.
• Manage relationships with service providers, grid operators, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, operating expenditure management and performance improvement initiatives.
• Promote high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across all assets.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire an Electrically biased Asset Manager to support the technical and commercial management of operational assets, with a strong focus on MV/HV systems, operational performance and stakeholder management.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage the technical and commercial performance of operational renewable energy assets
• Provide oversight of MV/HV electrical systems, supporting safe operations, switching procedures and electrical system performance
• Act as a key point of contact for HV/MV operational matters, supporting best practice across the portfolio
• Oversee key contracts including O&M agreements, PPAs and asset management services

What you'll bring:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering desirable, or a related Engineering, Science or technical discipline
• Technical and/or commercial experience within renewable energy, power generation, utilities or other energy infrastructure environments
• Strong understanding of MV/HV electrical systems and associated operational procedures
• Previous experience managing, overseeing or coordinating HV/MV operational activities is highly desirable
• Strong commercial awareness with exposure to operational or service contracts
• Open to candidates from a more site-based background looking to move into Asset Management
