Job summary

CAE is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for its Borescope Inspection Services Department. You will support Borescope Inspectors worldwide by coordinating inspections, managing work packages, and liaising with travel partners and clients to ensure smooth service delivery.

The role requires prior maintenance/coordinator experience in aviation, strong communication, and a high level of computer literacy. The position includes 4 on 4 off shifts and a competitive salary with benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain aviation safety focus and MOE compliance.
  • Communicate directly with clients to process initial requests.
  • Generate and approve work packages based on customer requirements.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation for inspectors with our travel partner.
  • Coordinate each inspection with on-site reps and certifying staff.
  • Review returning work packages and archive documentation.
  • Develop professional relationships with authorities and clients.
  • Contribute to the organisation’s development.
  • Assist in coordinating invoicing for each project.
  • Assist in coordinating payroll for borescope inspectors.

Maintenance Coordinator – Borescope Inspection Services Department

CAE Parc Aviation is accepting applications for a Maintenance Coordinator in our Borescope Inspection Services Department. The position is open to candidates with previous experience in a Maintenance/Production Coordinator or Planning role within an airline, aircraft or aircraft component maintenance environment.

Reporting to the 145 Department Manager, the successful candidate will join our team of Maintenance Coordinators in supporting our Borescope Inspectors in their performance of FAA/EASA approved borescope inspections across the globe.

Responsibilities
Operational Requirements
  • Maintain a clear focus on aviation safety and team collaboration in accordance with the company’s MOE
  • Communicate directly with our clients to process initial requests
  • Generate and approve work packages based on customer requirements and approved maintenance data
  • Liaise with our travel partner to arrange travel and accommodation for our inspectors
  • Coordinate each inspection by liaising, on-site representatives, our certifying staff and ensure that clear communication with the client representatives is maintained throughout the service delivery
  • Review returning work packages
  • Archive project documentation
  • Develop and maintain the highest professional relationship with the authorities, existing and potential clients
  • Contribute to the organisation’s development
Invoicing
  • To assist in coordinating invoicing for each project.
Payroll
  • To assist in coordinating Borescope Inspectors payroll at month end as per the dates and layout outlined by Accounts
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Maintenance/Production Coordinator role within an aircraft or aircraft component maintenance environment
  • Capacity to multi-task and act quickly to an ever-changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • As a portion of the role’s duties will be carried out remotely, the candidate must be comfortable making decisions and have the drive to work independently

Working Hours:
The role requires that the candidate work a 4 on 4 off shift rotation. Working hours are typically 08:00 – 20:00. The Package: We offer a competitive salary as well as a range of benefits.
