Job summary

CAE is seeking a Team Leader to manage the Engine Management Services Team. You will oversee project delivery, resource planning, and performance development of team members in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Excellent leadership, aviation regulatory knowledge, and client-facing skills are essential as you collaborate with customers and internal teams to meet budgets and quality targets. This role may require occasional travel and onsite visits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years Industry experience, preferably in Engine maintenance or technical services.
  • Previous supervisory experience essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of aviation regulations.
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for internal and customer communications.
  • Strong PC skills with MS Office products.
  • Demonstrate ability to support and motivate team members.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally onsite or to meet customers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operational management of the assigned team, including leave allocation and one-to-ones.
  • Assign projects and manage resources for on-time delivery.
  • Lead engine projects and perform key tasks as part of the project team.
  • Monitor and manage project progress, cost and quality of deliverables.
  • Define and evolve internal procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Support performance management and development of team members.
  • Engage with customers and business development to grow the client base.
  • Assist EMS leadership in growing department capabilities to meet client needs.

We are currently seeking a Team Leader to join our team at Engine Management Services Team. This position offers will lead one of our teams and a variety of projects in the Engine Management Services department.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Operational management of team assigned to you, including leave allocation, regular one to ones, career development and other HR related aspects.
  • Assignment of projects and resource management.
  • Lead Engine projects and carry out key tasks / duties as part of project team.
  • Oversight and management of projects assigned to your team.
  • Manage project progress, project cost and quality of deliverables.
  • Define and constantly evolve internal procedures.
  • Support performance management and development of team members together with the department managers.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Liaise with customers and business development team to grow new client base and maintain existing client relationships.
  • Assisting the EMS Operations Manager and Head of Engines in developing and growing the capabilities of the department to meet our client needs and budgetary targets.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years Industry experience, preferably in Engine maintenance or technical services.
