Contract: 3-month contract
Project: Product gallery transformation and AI imagery tool rollout
Our client is looking for an experienced E-commerce Visual Merchandiser to deliver a high-impact, 3-month project ahead of their biggest sales season.
This is a digital merchandising role, not physical retail visual merchandising. You will redefine product gallery standards, curate imagery across a large e-commerce catalogue, support the rollout of a new AI imagery tool, and help create a scalable visual framework that design teams can use across multiple international markets.
What You'll Be Doing
- Define and document product gallery standards, including image order, layouts, aspect ratios, backgrounds and visual overlays.
- Select and curate imagery for new and existing e-commerce product listings.
- Audit the existing catalogue and identify galleries requiring visual improvements ahead of peak season.
- Create repeatable guidelines, checklists and decision frameworks for designers.
- Prepare creative briefs and provide QA and feedback to designers.
- Support the rollout of a new AI imagery tool and train the team on how to use it effectively.
- Adapt gallery standards and visual content for different international markets.
- Track gallery quality, coverage and project progress.
Must Haves
- Proven experience working with digital product galleries, imagery, renders or mock-ups at scale.
- Excellent eye for visual consistency, composition and product presentation.
- Strong process-driven approach, with experience turning creative decisions into repeatable standards and guidelines.
- Experience creating creative briefs and providing feedback or direction to designers.
- Experience working with multi-market e-commerce and content localisation.
- Experience with PIM/DAM platforms or large-scale digital asset management.
- Comfortable learning and working with AI tools.
Nice to Have
- Background within gift, travel or experience e-commerce.
- Experience training teams on new software or creative tools.
- Experience developing localisation standards based on different customer behaviours and market expectations.
- Experience auditing large product catalogues and measuring visual content quality or coverage.
