Job summary

Industry & Co is seeking a part-time Visual Merchandiser to lead VM across its three nearby stores. You will design and install displays, create window concepts and manage in-store layouts. The role blends concept development with practical execution to drive commercial impact.

The ideal candidate has a design-led retail background, a strong portfolio, and the ability to coordinate calendars, budgets and supplier relationships while training store teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of visual merchandising experience, design-led retail preferred.
• Strong portfolio showcasing windows, interiors and layouts.
• Excellent organisation and project management abilities.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to lift/move items and work at height; hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Create window displays, in-store layouts, signage and seasonal concepts.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and hands‑on Visual Merchandiser to lead VM across Industry & Co - Home, Life, and Kids. This role combines concept design, in-store execution, display building, and commercial visual merchandising.

What You’ll Do

• Create window displays, in-store layouts, signage, and seasonal concepts
• Maintain consistent VM standards across three stores
• Build and install displays using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrics
• Optimise store layouts to improve conversion and customer flow
• Refresh displays to support sell-through and reduce slow movers
• Manage VM calendars, budgets, and suppliers
• Train store teams on day-to-day merchandising
• Support photoshoots, events, and promotional campaigns

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years’ experience in visual merchandising (design‑led retail preferred)
• Strong portfolio of windows, interiors, and layouts
• Confident with drills, saws, sanders, painting, finishing & simple electrics
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite + Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift/move items and work at height
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with SketchUp, Procreate, or similar
• Sustainable VM experience
• Full clean driving licence
