Job summary

Dean Group is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie for The Dean Galway, a busy hotel kitchen in Galway. You will prepare and present high-quality dishes, manage your section, and help mentor junior kitchen team members.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience at Chef de Partie level, strong culinary skills, and a flexible approach to shifts, including weekends and evenings. HACCP and food safety expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience at Chef de Partie level.
• Strong culinary skills with a desire to progress and learn.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Good understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes in your assigned section to the highest standard during service.
• Control mise-en-place for your section and adapt to changes.
• Maintain portion control, quality, and consistency of all dishes.
• Supervise and support junior chefs in your section.
• Assist with training and mentoring of Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters.
