Job summary

Tallaght Cross Hotel is seeking a proactive Duty Manager to join our team. You will act as a senior point of contact for guests and staff, resolving issues while upholding the high standards of Tallaght Cross Hotel.

Reporting to Windward Management, you will coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and F&B, oversee shift operations, complete handovers and prepare reports. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in hospitality, strong leadership, excellent organisation and communication skills, and a

Responsibilities

• Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints promptly.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, F&B and others for smooth operations.
• Conduct inspections and address issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures and health & safety standards.
• Manage emergencies calmly and professionally when required.
• Complete shift handovers, reports and general administrative duties.

About the role

Tallaght Cross Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Duty Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will act as a point of contact for guests and colleagues, resolving issues effectively while maintaining the high standards expected at Tallaght Cross Hotel.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner

• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and other departments to ensure smooth operations

• Carry out regular inspections and address any issues promptly

• Ensure hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety standards are followed

• Manage emergency situations calmly and professionally when required

• Complete shift handovers, reports, and general administrative duties

• Support training and development of team members

• Act as the senior point of contact for guests and staff during assigned shifts

Requirements

• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a similar position preferably within the hospitality industry

• Strong leadership ability with the confidence to manage a team

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
