Job summary

Empleo, in Dublin city, is seeking a Director of Financial Operations & Accounting to own the accounting and financial operations for a high-growth SaaS business. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the finance function and drive automation across processes.

You will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, treasury, AP/AR/billing, and a cross-functional team to deliver insights to senior leadership in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant PQE.
• Experience in high-growth technology/SaaS environments.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration.
• Corporate finance/M&A experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting requirements, including monthly and annual financial statements.

Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Financial Operations & Accounting will own the accounting and financial operations function for a high-growth SaaS business.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the month end close process including reconciliations and consolidations
• Manage financial reporting requirements, including monthly and annual financial statements
• Lead a high performing finance team
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior leadership
• Oversee treasury operations as well as key finance processes including AP, AR and billing
• Design, implement and enhance accounting processes and procedures including utilising AI to drive automations across finance processes

Key requirements:

• Qualified accountant with significant PQE
• Experience within high-growth technology/SaaS environments required
• Strong leadership and team management abilities with a track record of building high-performing teams
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration across multiple departments
• Corporate finance/M&A experience highly desirable
