Job summary

EMPOWERMENT is exclusively partnered with a PE-backed Financial Services client seeking two recently qualified accountants to join their expanding team in Ireland. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will own the month-end process and all financials for your designated entities, delivering accurate management accounts and insightful analyses.

You will support group reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and audit activities while adhering to group policies.

Qualifications

• Recently qualified chartered accountant (0-2 PQE) with experience in preparing management accounts
• Big Four trained in Ireland, with experience in the audit of Investment Managers/Fund Administrators/Corporate Service providers
• Multi-entity accounting experience, knowledge of various accounting standards
• Power BI knowledge advantageous

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Accounting, and working with senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for owning the month-end process and all financials for your designated entities.

• Own the accounting and reporting for designated legal entities
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, delivering financial analysis and variance explanation
• Group reporting to include supporting group consolidations & intercompany reconciliations
• Support internal & external audit activities and ensure compliance with Group accounting policies
• Play a pivotal role in identifying operational efficiences, supporting automation and increasing controls

Experience:
